Each year around this time the flu shot advertising begins. You see signs at every drug store and grocery store. It almost seems like you can get them at gas stations now when you fill up your car. I am asked every year, “Should I get a Flu Shot?” So each year I put out a flier to educate about the flu shot and here is some of what it says.
There are thousands of strains of flu virus and only three strains, based on an educated guess by the CDC, put in the flu vaccine each year. For the CDC to correctly guess the strains to put in the flu vaccine each year would be tantamount to winning the powerball!
A Recent review article on the flu vaccine shows that it would take up to 100 flu shots to prevent 1 case of flu. http://summaries.cochrane.org/CD001269/vaccines-to-prevent-influenza-in-healthy-adults
Flu Vaccines also contain a high amount of the preservative Thimersol, which is organic mercury. Apparently mercury stops being a dangerous poison when it’s put into vaccines.
So I ask is it worth getting the flu shot if it’s been shown to be ineffective and is loaded with a known neuro toxin called mercury! I’ll let you decide that, but increasing Vitamin D in the winter months and getting Chiropractic care has been shown to be a better preventative measure without the toxic side effects.
